It's the age old excuse- but for this blog it rings true. This is obviously something Im passionate about, however, with the rise of graduation and fitting in the last, most important issue of the Maroon & White.

The first day of May is the official start of natures bounty. To celebrate (and to go to one of Furmans Accepted Student days) we traveled to Greenville for the Farmers Market Opening. It was marvelous and we got our first strawberries of the season as well as some organic plants. I have lots of pictures!

The last two Saturdays have been the Abington Farmers Market. Our fridge is stuffed with myriad greens such as collards, kale, spinached, red lettace ect. I also bought my own pot of lettuce to cut fresh. This Saturday after the Market we
had lunch at House on Main owned by Troutdale which uses all local ingredients.
